Creator program
Creator program terms
Last updated October 10, 2026. Tech Shepherd LLC, doing business as AdversaryAI ("we"), runs the program.
1. Who can join
- You are 18 or older and have your own channel, site or audience.
- We approve each creator. We can decline an application, and we explain why if you ask.
2. How referrals are counted
- A new AdversaryAI account counts as yours when, at sign-up, either the person typed your code, or the last creator link they opened in the previous 60 days was yours.
- Existing accounts don't count.
- Once set, an account's referrer never changes. If someone tells us they signed up without their code, we may attach it by hand within 30 days of their sign-up; only payments after that moment count.
- Visitors who block cookies, or who don't accept them where consent is required, count only if they type your code.
- Your own accounts, and accounts used from the same browser as yours, don't count (we check them by hand before they earn).
3. What you earn
Effective October 10, 2026. Commissions recorded before that date keep the numbers they were recorded with.
For each payment a referred customer makes within 12 months of their sign-up, you earn 20% of (what they paid minus Stripe's processing fee on that payment and any sales tax), rounded to the nearest cent (never below zero).
Examples, with Stripe's standard card fee (2.9% plus 30 cents) and no sales tax:
| Payment | They pay | Stripe fee | After the fee | Your 20% |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $4.99 round pack (100 rounds) | $4.99 | $0.44 | $4.55 | $0.91 |
| Debater plan, $12 a month | $12.00 | $0.65 | $11.35 | $2.27 a month |
| Coach plan, $29 a month | $29.00 | $1.14 | $27.86 | $5.57 a month |
| Champion plan, $49 a month | $49.00 | $1.72 | $47.28 | $9.46 a month |
| Champion plan, $529 a year (one payment) | $529.00 | $15.64 | $513.36 | $102.67 |
Swipe the table sideways to see every column.
- That includes plans and each renewal, round packs, Interview Gauntlet runs, and team or club payments (team seats, school seats and club seasons) for a team or club that the referred person created, when they are paid by card through our checkout. A team or club the person only joined doesn't count.
- A monthly plan earns on each payment in the first 12 months. A yearly plan is one payment, so it earns once.
- The fee is Stripe's actual fee on that payment. If it can't be read, we use the standard 2.9% plus 30 cents and mark it as an estimate on the record.
- Amounts are in US dollars; a payment made in another currency counts at what it came to in dollars. Every payment is shown in your dashboard (the newest first, with older ones a page at a time) with the amount paid, the fee, any sales tax and your share, so you can check each number.
4. What doesn't count
- Your own accounts or purchases.
- Accounts made to game the program.
- Payments that are refunded or charged back. They are reversed in proportion to the amount refunded, even after a payout, against your future earnings. You are never asked to send money back.
- Free rounds, free pilots and rounds we grant by hand. A free pilot earns nothing; once that team or club pays by card through our checkout, those payments count as in section 3.
- Payments through ESA programs such as ClassWallet, and invoices we send by hand (including a team, school or club deal we invoice).
- Payments more than 12 months after the person's sign-up.
5. When you're paid
- Each commission clears 30 days after the payment.
- We pay what has cleared once a month, by the 10th for everything cleared by the end of the previous month, when you're owed $25 or more. A smaller amount carries over to the next month.
- We pay by PayPal or bank transfer.
- We need a W-9 (US) or a W-8BEN (outside the US) before the first payment.
- You're responsible for your own taxes.
6. Disclosure (required)
- In every video, post or page that mentions AdversaryAI with your link or code, say clearly that you earn from it: "#ad", "Sponsored", or "I get a commission if you sign up with my link".
- Say it in the video itself, not only in the description. Use the platform's paid-promotion setting (on YouTube, "Includes paid promotion").
- Vague tags like "#sp", "#partner" or "#collab" alone aren't enough.
- This follows the FTC's Endorsement Guides.
7. What you can't do
- Bid on "AdversaryAI" or misspellings of it in search ads.
- Post your code on coupon or deal sites.
- Spam, send unsolicited bulk messages, or post in communities that ban promotion.
- Pay or reward people to sign up.
- Use pop-unders or cookie stuffing.
- Pretend to be AdversaryAI or its support.
- Use our logo in ways that suggest we made your video.
8. Claims you can't make
AdversaryAI is a practice tool. Don't say or imply that it:
- guarantees a job, offer, raise, sale, admission or exam result;
- gives legal, medical or financial advice, or predicts court outcomes;
- is POST- or CE-certified, or approved by any school, board, police agency or ESA program;
- has users, ratings or results we haven't published.
Your honest opinion of using it is welcome, good or bad.
9. Changes and ending
- Either side can end the partnership at any time by email.
- Commissions earned on valid payments before the end are paid out, except in cases of fraud or a breach of these terms.
- We'll give 30 days' email notice before changing the rate or the rules. Changes don't apply to payments already made.
10. The legal bits
- You're an independent creator, not an employee or agent of ours.
- Our liability is limited to commissions owed to you and not yet paid.
- These terms are governed by Arizona law.
- Questions: support@getadversaryai.com. To apply, use the form on the creator page.
